Solanaceae

The Solanaceae, or nightshade family, is filled with robust and adaptable aquatic plants. Their intriguing leaf designs and structure add a touch of wilderness and exoticism to the underwater scenery.

I found a huge golden bloom from Solandra maxima, also known as the 'Cup of Gold Vine' 💛💛💛

It is part of the Solanaceae family, which is the Nightshade family! So as you guessed, all parts of this plant are very poisonous!! ☠️

Did you know that this is the same family as Tomatoes 🍅, Potatoes 🥔, Chillies 🌶 and Aubergines?! 🙃
